Detroit’s Awesome Dre is best known for his 1989 album “Awesome Dre & The Hardcore Committee: You Can’t Hold Me Back” – a straight up hardcore Hip Hop album that could hold it’s own amongst contemporary albums like Ice T’s “The Iceberg” or Chill Rob G’s “Ride The Rhythm”. Awesome Dre is regarded as a top lyricist by many true Hip Hop heads.
