B-Real, Sen Dog, Mellow Man Ace, and DJ Muggs came together to form one of the most influential groups in the game with the release of their highly acclaimed debut album – “Cypress Hill” – in 1991.

B-Real’s nasal delivery combined with Sen’s punchlines and energy told the story of life on the streets of Southern LA and how they preferred mind elevation over deadly violence to ease the pain of their day-to-day reality.

Cypress Hill are considered among the pioneers of West Coast Hip Hop and icons of the genre having easily solidified their place in history as the first Latino group to consistently achieve multi-platinum record sales worldwide.
